The Healthy Way To Lose Those Pounds (fibromyalgie) – fibromialgie

Many men and women feel uncomfortable when they hear the words “weight loss”. The reason for this is most often a sense of failure because they have tried several weight loss programs before without success. Typically they fail for the reason that they get confused by all of the information out there giving advice on how to slim down. Some of these advice are inconsistent because many businesses advertise their weight loss product as superior over their competition, which they imply is not as effective, so just who do you believe?
Adhering to a long term program is one of the key factors for weight loss. Numerous men and women are under the misapprehension that they can easily achieve their target weight after only several days of fierce dieting. This is not the right way to lose fat because any weight loss during short term dieting is due to water loss and not fat. The best approach to losing weight is by going the distance following a long term weight loss plan. Diets that are super stringent tend to not work because they are hard to stick to, maybe because of the foods you have to eat. The monotony of a rigid diet may cause you to rebel and start eating the ‘wrong’ foods possibly in binge amounts. These small digressions from the plan will make you doubt your basic dedication to losing weight. At this point, nnumerous people will fall by the wayside and resign or compromise the plan and not lose a great deal of weight.
Weight loss can be summed up very simply – burn off more calories than you consume at mealtimes. In practice, computing just how many calories you’ve eaten daily is hard. You can’t even reckon that say 100 calories of dark chocolate must be the same as 100 calories of fruit because there is a minor difference. Some foods are low in calories but low in nutrients too (empty calories). Make sure you avoid these and ingest nutrient dense foods that tend to be natural and unprocessed such as chicken, fish and fruits. You might think that avoiding all fat when you’re dieting is essential but this is not the case. You can still eat things like some nuts and avocado that have essential fatty acids which are called good fats. It will make it a lot easier to stick with a weight loss diet long term if you stay away from boring and unappetizing foods. A good motivator to go on is to select healthy foods that are enjoyable to prepare and eat. Salmon, green veggies and salads, fresh fruits etc are examples of nourishing foods that both look and taste yummy.
We’ve looked at the calorie consumption but what about burning more calories? Well, this is why you should not overlook exercise as part of your weight loss plan. Exercise has the effect of boosting your metabolism (burns off calories faster) and will also promote stronger muscles. Building up muscle = more muscle which means your body will burn up more calories while at rest. Make sure you pick a form of exercise that suits you and is something you enjoy doing. That way you’re more likely to exercise every day and not make excuses to get out of it.
Finally, by way of encouragement, weight loss is beyond your reach. Just follow a plan that you are able to stick with for the long run and check yourself mentally.
Two years ago I heard about the guai protocol in Dr. Devin Starlanyl’s book. I was intrigued with the first information I saw about how to reverse this lousy illness (fibromialgie). Unfortunately the information was limited. Some more digging on the internet and I was able finally get started on the guai protocol. I WISH I HAD THIS BOOK WHEN I STARTED. I live across the country from Dr. St. Armand and had to figure out things more on my own. If I had this book I would have had a great resource to turn to. Even after nearly two years of following this protocol, I still learned alot from this book. I am so much better today than I was two years ago. I sleep better, my TMJ pain is gone, headaches are gone, energy level is better, digestive problems are better, overall pain level is lower, disabling wrist pain is gone….I could go on and on, but instead if you have fibromyalgia and ever want to have hope of getting well again….BUY THIS BOOK! It is well worth every penny.
For the last ten years I have become increasingly ill with a series of seemingly unrelated complaints: disabling fatigue, allergies, chemical sensitivities, severe muscle pain, headaches, depression, itchy skin, etc. I have shuffled from one diagnosis to another with no relief in sight. I found this book and realized finally, I WAS NOT ALONE! These are symptoms we all share as people who suffer from a very real and debilitating disease called fibromyalgie. This book is the first I’ve read that offers a protocol that has been successful for many people. I found a Dr. and started the protocol one week after reading it and have already reaped some of the benefits promised. This treatment is not,as Dr. St. Armand says “for the faint of heart”, but there is a support group of people just like you who have started on the road to wellness and will help you on your journey also. We share ideas and focus on getting well. Many of us have. I promise you this book will not disappoint you and reading it will give you an immediate benefit: HOPE.
